Online Classes

Embodied Yoga Gentle Flow for healing and mental health wellbeing
Designed to cultivate awareness and presence, help ease away stress & anxiety, and find embodiment.
The first part of the class is spent on the floor doing pranayama techniques, healing mudras, accessible movement and stretches, then we move to standing infusing classical hatha yoga postures with an element of flow, back to the floor with some restorative poses honing in on sensations and awareness and finishing with meditation leaving you more grounded, regulated and balanced. 
You're encouraged to listen to your body throughout the practice, to move intuitively, to look at every pose as a way to make a choice and find your own unique expression promoting self awareness.

Embodied Yin Yoga ~ Linger for Longer 

Yin Yoga moves much more slowly than it’s yang counterpart and stretches more deeply into the body.

Yin Yoga centers around calming, grounding, asana for stretching deeper into connective tissues such as ligaments tendons and deep fascia, combined with holding the postures for an extended period of time,  because you perform yin yoga in a more passive manner, you’re encouraged to relax and surrender to gravity allowing for it to target your physical mental and emotional health.

Everyone's experience with, and reasons for coming to yoga are unique, so should be the approach to treat your body.

One to one yoga classes are a great way to enrich a deeper understanding of yourself, your body, all aspects of yoga and philosophy, whilst supporting you with tools to cope with anxiety, stress, trauma, emotional healing and cultivate mental health wellbeing.

Private yoga classes offer a more personalised approach than group classes can offer and are tailored to your individual needs.  Each session is customised to meet you where you are, through your yoga practice you will be guided to explore your body on your own terms, exactly as it is in an inclusive, accessible and integrative approach that includes centering exercises, discussion, gentle movement, breathing practices, meditation, chakras and yoga philosophies, finding safety and freedom within to provide a foundation for embodiment, emotional healing, negative body image and mental health clarity.

Workshops

Healing Restorative Yoga - Rest, Reset & Restore

Heal, Breathe, Release, Bloom with this Healing Restorative Trauma Focused Yoga workshop.

You can expect to start with a short meditation, followed by restorative poses with props, light movement, breathwork and closed with yoga nidra.

When the body is relaxed the mind is more likely to follow.

Slowing down with restorative yoga will balance the nervous system, reduce stress, calm and quiet the mind and improve sleep quality, and we can target fascia and joint health and improve flexibility.

This 2 hour workshop is extremely relaxing and meditative which will help us slow down !It's great for the mind and the body.

This strives to be a space where people of varying experience levels, abilities, ages, races, cultures, sizes, genders, sexual orientations, and gender expression feel included because abuse does not discriminate.designed to empower you to release trapped psychological and physical energies and come back home to your body and feel more comfortable in your own skin.

Embodied Mindful Movement ~ A path to healing & wellness

Begin your week with Yoga and stretch away those Monday blues with this popular evening class.

This is a mixed levels class - a slow mindful flow with the option to pace yourself and move in a way that works best for you. 

You can expect to start the class with centering, followed by a well structured intentional sequence and finished with a guided relaxation, this combination of postures and breath work will remove stagnant energy from the body and mind and leave you feeling good for the week ahead.

This class can be challenging but can also be adapted for bodies that need a gentler practice the goal is to find presence in our bodies with kindness and compassion.

Monday, 8.00pm Lifestyle Studio Matthew Arnold School Kingston Road Staines

Embodied Movement Gentle Flow ~ Cultivating awareness, presence & embodiment

This class is designed to challenge you within your limits, cultivate awareness and presence, gain a better understanding of how the body works, help ease away tension, facilitate a balanced nervous system and find embodiment.  

Each class gives a delicate balance of yoga from the past and present.

Wednesday, 6pm Laleham Methodist Church Hall, Edinburgh Drive, Staines.

Neurodiversity

Neurodiverse Yoga

Mental health care needs a neurodiversity lens to account for variations in individual nervous system responses and offer a gentle and supportive environment for neurological differences and disabilities acknowledging diversity.

All my classes take into account sensory and processing differences and acknowledge neurodiversity, these classes are specifically held for neurodiverse groups or as individual classes as there is no one path to healing.

Yoga poses, mudras, pranayama, mantras and mindfulness delivered in a fun relaxed manor for adults with learning difficulties and/or other disabilities, often using themes and games, gentle manipulation only with permission, specialised breathing exercises and relaxation techniques, with variations to suit individual abilities. Yoga invites awareness not only to the body and sensations but also the emotions, it helps benefit our motor, sensory, emotional, immune and psychological wellbeing and can promote growth on all levels, self regulation, social skills, identification, expression, communication and language.

Everything you need for an inclusive healing & wellness practice all in one place for all abilities. Supporting your mental health wellbeing, encouraging a self care routine and offering healing practices for people with stress, anxiety, trauma and those who need a gentle and supportive environment. Providing various styles of Trauma Informed mindful embodied practices to meet you exactly where you are including Yoga, Breathwork, Healing Mudras Meditation & more. Various memberships available.

There are many different ways to connect with, and balance the four elements in your body and life, my favourites being spending time with the elements in their natural surroundings and yoga.
