PRIVACY POLICY

All personal information held by Indigo Yoga will be treated as Private and Confidential and used solely by us and will not be disclosed to other parties.

Your information will never be shared.

INSURANCE

I am a member of the IYN and fully qualified and insured to carry out all the Yoga classes on my website.

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully.  Your use of this site, the purchase of services on this site or at our venues will be subject to these Terms and Conditions.  By reading these terms, filling in the health form, attending any of the classes, workshops, courses or therapy sessions, you hereby agree to our Terms and Conditions.

ONLINE VIDEO DISCLAIMER

By choosing to use our online yoga classes found on this website, or any of our programs, services or products, you implicitly signify you agree to all parts of the following disclaimer:

Intellectual property: The copyright in these videos is owned by Sharon Cannon. Reproduction, transmission or sharing of the videos, (in part or full) is strictly prohibited without the prior consent of Sharon Cannon.

By accessing and participating in these classes you confirm that you have read and understood this disclaimer.

The classes on the Indigo Yoga Online website are for mixed level abilities from complete beginners, to those who have developed a more advanced practice. Classes are not designed for those who are under 18, pregnant or unable to get up and down from the floor with ease. 

Please do not continue with a class or a movement that is too difficult for your level of experience or ability, or if you feel any discomfort.

Yoga is an individual experience, you will progress at your own pace although there are tremendous benefits to overall health and wellbeing, yoga can be physcially challenging and if you experience any pain or discomfort, you will listen to your body, adjust the posture, and/or stop and rest when needed.

To avoid damage to yourself and property around you during participation please clear enough space to safely carry out the exercises without hitting items around you, check that the devide you are using is securely position and will not interefere with your movement.

You acknowledge that you have either had a physical examination and /or have been given permission from your Doctor to participate in a yoga program, or that you have decided to participate in a yoga program voluntarily and without the approval of your Doctor and do hereby assume all responsibility for your participation in the online yoga videos or any other yoga activity associated with Sharon Cannon and Indigo Yoga.

You understand that when participating in any exercise or exercise program, including your voluntary participation in yoga, there is the possibility of physical injury, you understand and are aware that the components of yoga are potentially hazardous activities and may cause injury. If you engage in this exercise or exercise program, you agree that you do so at your own risk, are voluntarily participating in these activities, assume all risk of injury to yourself, and agree to release and discharge Indigo Yoga and any subsidiaries from any and all claims or causes of action, known or unknown, arising out of Indigo Yoga.

Classes are always subject to availability, but at Indigo Yoga we endeavour to give you our best service.

NEW STUDENTS must make contact before booking

If you have not attended for some time, you must make contact to check the class is still running and available.

You are expected to provide all correct details about your health via the health form prior to attendance and YOU are responsible for your own health and well being.  All Terms and Condition on liability apply.

Pay As You Go Class - £8.50

Block of 4 classes - £28 (£7 per class paid in advance)

Block of 8 classes - £52 (£6.50 per class paid in advance)

Block of 12 classes - £72 (£6 per class paid in advance)

Online Monthly Membership - £75

Online Subscription Platform £9.99 per month

Daytime 1-2-1 sessions £35

Terms and Conditions

4 class pass is valid for 6 weeks after your first attendance and becomes void thereafter.

8 class pass is valid for 10weeks after your first attendance and becomes void thereafter.

12 class pass is valid for 14 weeks after your first attendance and becomes void thereafter.

 

Class passes are not refundable, if you are unable to come to the class every week, please don’t buy one.

Payment is required at the time of booking, spaces cannot be reserved without payment. Please book every class that you wish to attend on the booking system at the time of purchasing your pass to secure your space.

Class passes cannot be shared unless previously agreed.

Turning up when spaces have not been booked in may result in refusal to join the class, especially during busy periods, as there is a limit to how many students can be held in the halls and this cannot be exceeded, we appreciate your compliance with this.

Reduced rate class passes are designed to encourage regular attendance, if you wish to come and go please use the drop in pay as you go class rate although a space cannot be guaranteed.

Preference for group classes is given to existing students who attend regularly using class pass block bookings first, for the classes they currently attend, then the remaining spaces will be offered to those on the waiting list and then on a first come first served basis, NEW STUDENTS only will need to contact me before booking, just because a space is available on the booking system does not necessarily mean there is a space available in the class, to avoid disappointment please do not book onto a class without contacting me first, your booking will be cancelled if booked without prior contact. 

After making payment of a class pass, please specify ALL of your classes that you are going to attend.

Class passes are NON refundable once purchased, this is your commitment to attend, if unsure whether you can make a commitment for the block group sessions, then you are best paying as you go nearer the time if there is still a space available.

Payments can be made via the online booking system Instabook or by cash

Payments need to be received in advance

All classes, need to be booked online via our booking system Instabook, there is an option to pay later if you do not wish to pay online, however payment must be received in advance prior to class.

I am happy to make the online booking for you but card payments cannot be taken if I make the booking on your behalf.

Please make your payment at the time of booking.
Bookings with offline (pay later) payments will be marked as complete but will show as having money owed until the payment has been recorded, if this has not been received within 7 days the booking will be cancelled.
If this is not possible, please make sure you make contact to discuss this or your booking will be cancelled.

We still require those who PAYG to put their name down on the booking system each week for class attendance.  

Class prices may be increased by Indigo Yoga at any time although we will endeavour to keep prices at good affordable rates as best we can, we are not responsible for venue hire increases and thus our prices change accordingly.

Indigo Yoga can also not be accountable for loss or change of venue.  This is outside Indigo Yoga's control but again, all efforts will be made to find a suitable venue as soon as possible.

Property brought to class is of your own responsibility and therefore we ask you not to bring valuables and wear as little jewellery/watches as possible for your safety and to prevent loss if removed.

Any property is you own responsibility.  No responsibility is placed with Indigo Yoga for your effects and possessions.

Refunds:

Please try to book only the classes you can attend to avoid cancellations.

Class passes are not refundable, if you are unable to come to the class every week, please don’t buy one.

Class passes are non refundable, for a transfer of a pre-booked class please contact me with prior notice.

You must contact me up to 24 hours before the class start time, to transfer a pre-booked class, if you do not you will be charged for attending, transfers cannot be given after this time.

There is no refund policy following cancellations or no shows, but I can offer re-scheduling for another class if you contact me in advance.

You may also pass your booking onto a friend at no additional cost but we must be notified via email if someone is attending in your place.  

If the event is fully booked and I can manage to fill your space to someone on the waiting list I will transfer the class to another date, as long as you are within the 2 week window as stated above, however no transfers will be offered if the space cannot be filled.

For all other courses or workshops we can only offer a refund when cancelling 7 days before the beginning of the event.

Private sessions must be cancelled within 24 hours or the session will be charged in full.

Strictly no refunds/transfers will be provided if you are a no show! Advance notice has to be provided that you are not attending.

Late notice via email, sms, social media, or third parties/replacements up on arrival are not deemed suitable notice.

In the case of a class course or workshop being cancelled by us you will receive a full refund or the option of transferring to another class, workshop or course of equal value.

Private sessions must be cancelled within 24 hours, in person or by telephone, email or text message.  In any other case the session will be charged in full. 

Corporate sessions must be cancelled within 24 hours, in person or by telephone, email or text message.  In any other case the session will be charged in full. 

PRIVATE YOGA CLASSES

Private Yoga Tuition - Terms and Conditions

Your private yoga session should be paid for when booking, in advance.  This payment will reserve and secure your booked session. If you need to cancel or change your booking, you can do so, provided that 24 hours notice is given.  

If less than 24 hours notice is given, or you do not attend your session you will be charged, the fee will not be refundable or transferable.

If you are late for the private session, the class may still go ahead but will end at the agreed booking end time; as other classes and sessions will follow.

This applies to all services carried out by Indigo Yoga on the premises or mobile.

You are expected to provide all correct details about your health via the health form prior to attendance and you are responsible for your own health and wellbeing.

CORPORATE YOGA

Your Corporate yoga session shall be invoiced in advance on the 1st of the month.  This payment will reserve and secure your booked sessions. If you need to cancel or change your bookings, you can do so, provided that 24 hours notice is given.  

If less than 24 hours notice is given, or no attendees arrive for the  sessions you will still be charged, the fee will not be refundable or transferable.

The class will start at its scheduled time, If your attendees are late they may join the class at their own risk as they will not have attended the warm up section.  If I am asked to delay the start of the corporate session (without 24 hours notice) the class will still go ahead but will end at the agreed booking end time; as other classes and sessions will follow.

Your attendees are expected to provide all correct details about your health via the health form prior to attendance and each student is  responsible for their own health and wellbeing.

WORKSHOPS AND COURSES

Workshops are one off sessions focused on specific areas of the practice. Some of these Workshops will be longer sessions so that we can go into further details regarding specifics.

Courses will be run over 4-8 weeks.

These will be held in the Indigo Yoga Den, spaces will be limited.

Prices will vary and the details on the website will be correct.

These sessions will be added to the website and booking system and will be available for booking as per the dates on the website.

The event will be set up via our booking system and the full balance is due at time of booking.

1 Week (7 days) notice for cancellation is required, refunds cannot be given after 7 days please see the cancellation policy below for further details.

Please be aware that if a workshop or course does not have enough attendees booked on to be viable it will be cancelled so please book on as soon as possible.

HEALTH DECLARATION

You are expected to provide all correct details about you health via the health form prior to attendance and YOU are responsible for your own health and well being.  All terms and conditions on liability apply.

GIFT VOUCHERS

Gift vouchers are non refundable or transferable and are valid for 6 months from time or purchase, contact needs to be made and appointment/classes booked within 3 months.

CONDUCT

Any threatening or rude behaviour towards the teacher or other students, verbally or physically will not be tolerated and will be reported and the offending student will be banned from returning with no refunds given.

Any threatening communications via text/email will also be taken very seriously and will be forwarded to the police.

Indigo Yoga also asks that everyone respect each other and refrain from talking loudly during class, although a light hearted approach is encouraged during classes, conversations between friends or couples whilst the teacher is helping students and giving instruction is distracting and rude to the teacher and fellow students.

IMPORTANT LIABILITY STATEMENT

Important Liability Statement regarding health information and class instruction.

The information available on this site, and the services supplied by Sharon Cannon Yoga do not constitute medical advice and it is your responsibility to determine, through obtaining appropriate medical advice, that you are fit and well and that such contents and services are suitable for you.  It is not our responsibility to do so.  Before commencing any exercise regime, you should consult your doctor.

If it’s your first time attending a class, please enquire if there is space and if the class is suitable and also fill in and submit the online health form.

You are responsible for making sure all information on that form is accurate and if in any doubt about your health or suitability for class, you must consult your GP first.

All abilities are welcome at every class as long as you listen to your body, listen to the teachers instructions/modifications carefully and agree to the terms and conditions on this site, by attending a class and by completing the health form, that is your agreement.  You are responsible for your health and well being.  The teacher is not responsible for you and especially for anything you do outside of instruction, this is why listening and staying focused is important at all times.

All health issues must be discussed prior to practice and if you are pregnant, please consult your doctor first and check with the teacher that a particular class you’re interested in is suitable.

It is vital that you supply us with correct information about yourself via the online health form and telling us prior to class of any changes or illness that we would need to know that day.  We cannot be liable for any incorrect information supplied by you to us.  We try to make sure that all information contained on this web site is correct, but, subject to the paragraph below, we do not accept any liability for any error or omission and exclude all liability for any action you (your legal representatives, heirs) may take, or loss or injury you may suffer (direct or indirect including loss of pay, profit, opportunity or time, pain and suffering any indirect, consequential or special loss, however arising) as a result of relying on any information on this website or provided through any service supplied by us to you.

You, your legal representatives and your heirs release waive, discharge and covenant, not to sue Sharon Cannon Yoga and its instructors of any injury or death caused by their negligence or other acts.

GENERAL

By browsing this site you are accepting that you are bound to the current Terms and Conditions.  By coming to any of the classes, workshops, courses, or therapy sessions you agree that you are bound by these Terms and Conditions.

You may use this site for personal and lawful use and in accordance with these terms and you are not allowed to copy or use any material from the site for any commercial purpose.  These Terms and Conditions include general Terms and Conditions for use of this site, Terms and Conditions relating to the services provided by Sharon Cannon Yoga at any of our venues.

Sharon Cannon Yoga shall not be liable to the client for any loss, injury, damage, expense or delay suffered by the Client of the Instructor.  This exclusion shall extend (but not be limited) to the consequences of any act or omission (whether wilful, negligent, reckless, dishonest or otherwise) which takes place during the event/class on the part of the Instructor or Client.  The Client acknowledges that Sharon Cannon Yoga fees are set on the basis that it has not such liability.
